Abstract The course of the Programmable Device Application is the core course of electronic information specialty. In order to meet the requirement of engineering certification standard, teaching research on this course is carried out through three aspects: formulating teaching training objectives, optimizing teaching content and establishing teaching evaluation system. In this paper, the basic concept of certification is applied to curriculum teaching research, in order to improve the quality of teaching, improve the quality of personnel training, and ultimately meet the requirements of engineering education professional certification for students' graduation ability.
