Abstract Typesetting technology is a compulsory basic course for the majors of printing technology, printing graphic information processing, digital media application and so on. In order to meet the needs of the development of the printing and publishing industry, the original teaching content, teaching mode, teaching means and methods are reformed and explored in order to further cultivate students' interest in learning and improve their professional quality.
