Abstract The application of network teaching platform can provide abundant resources for learners, but the usage of achieved
data from existing network teaching platform are static for teachers or learners. The platform is lack of personalized learning guide.
By introducing big data thinking to network teaching platform, diversity of learners and each learner’s real situation can be better understood.
This paper analyzes some shortcomings of the existing network teaching platform, and discusses how to make use of“datadriven”
method to provide quality and personalized education resources for learners.
