Abstract Skills competition has a great effect on promoting the teaching in vocational colleges. The author expounds the connotation and implementation process of "Contest to promote learning, Contest to promote teaching" and reforms professional teaching in many aspects. Practice results show that "Contest to promote learning, Contest to promote teaching" significantly improves the students' comprehensive quality and employment competitiveness.
