Development and Application of MOOC for Higher Vocational Courses

Abstract MOOC is an important embodiment of applying latest information technologies on the curriculum reformation of vocational courses. During the development of MOOC, instructors of different majors or of different collages usually have their own understanding and application on MOOC. Based on author’s teaching practice on higher vocational courses, together with his practice on developing MOOC platform and designing MOOC-based instruction guidelines for higher vocational collage, this paper discusses on how to effectively develop and apply MOOC for higher vocational courses.
