A Review of Research and Development in Data Analysis Methods

Abstract  
With the rapid accumulation of big data, and the popularization of the Internet, data analysis has become increasingly im‐
portant as an information processing and decision support tool. This article provides an overview of the methods, applications, and
future development of data analysis. Firstly, the article introduces the definition and background of data analysis, and then explores
the main methods of data analysis in depth, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning. Furthermore, the ar‐
ticle explores the application of data analysis in different fields, covering various aspects such as business, healthcare, finance, and
social networks. Finally, this article looks forward to the future development direction of data analysis, including the integration of
artificial intelligence and data analysis, challenges such as data privacy and security, and the increasingly important role of data
analysis in social decision-making and scientific research.
