Construction Plan and Discussion of 5G Base Station Clock Transformation

Abstract  With the continuous development of IP networks, all over IP has become an inevitable trend in network development, and synchronous network technology is also changing rapidly. The IEEE1588 protocol has emerged. In order to ensure the security and reliability of 5G networks, the original GPS clock has been upgraded and transformed into a 1588V2 clock carried by a wired net‐ work in the local network 5G base station renovation and construction. It has become a reliable and cost-effective renovation plan for 5G network security. This article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the two renovation plans and proposes a solution that combines each other, and adapts to local conditions, providing a reference for future 5G base station clock renovation and con‐ struction.
