Teaching Reform of Data Visualization Technology Course Based on OBE

Abstract

Aiming at the current situation of poor teaching effectiveness in data visualization technology courses, a teaching plan for
data visualization technology courses based on the OBE education concept is proposed. This plan takes the final learning outcomes
as the starting point for reverse course design, mainly researching and reforming the teaching mode of data visualization technology
courses from two aspects: course teaching content, assessment and evaluation. Implementing a outcome-oriented education teaching
model in the teaching of data visualization technology courses enables students to have a clear understanding of the learning out‐
comes and abilities that will be achieved after studying this course, thereby stimulating their interest in self-directed learning and ef‐
fectively improving the teaching quality, level, and learning effectiveness of data visualization technology courses
