Abstract Local universities should combine the training plans and requirements of their own majors, create a talent cultivation framework that can be continuously improved, so as to meet the training tasks of application-oriented talents required by the society. Subject competition is a group scientific and technological activity for college students. Computer science majors can expand their professional vision, improve their professional practice ability, strengthen their logic, professional thinking, innovative consciousness, interpersonal communication and cooperation ability by participating in the competition. Competition can also further stimulate students' motivation for deeper learning.
