Abstract This paper analyzes the present situation of pet fosterage. Aiming at the disadvantages of traditional pet cage, it realizes
the monitoring system based on WiFi for the intelligent pet cage which has been designed. The users can view the life condition
and related parameters of the pets with mobile phones, and carry out the corresponding operation. The system is convenient for the
interaction between hosts and their pets.
