Abstract Task-driven is a teaching method based on the theory of constructivism. Under the guidance of constructivist theory and task-driven theory, combining with specific project cases, this paper adopts the project-oriented and task-driven methods to improve students' practical ability. It explores on the practical application of the method in the Database Application Technology, to improve the teaching effect and popularize it in the similar courses.
