Design and Implementation of Home Robot Based on Android

Abstract  This paper presents a new concept of home handling robot based on Android, which is aiming at a series of problems such as the weight of furniture and the difficulty of transport. It designs an APP with the functions of video transmission, motion control,mode switching, robot control and parameter setting. After testing, the software can achieve the control of the robot. And the software has the advantages of easy operation, simple coding, and secondary development for specific requirements, and has great potential for application.
