Abstract In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the teaching reform of software technology specialty in higher vocational
colleges, we have carried out the practical research on the teaching situation of the major. The survey finds that the teaching of
software technology specialty has certain deficiencies, leading to the deviation between teaching result and the expected effect.
Therefore, it is urgent to carry out the teaching reform of software technology specialty. This paper discusses on the reform in the
perspective of innovation ability training.
