The Construction and Research of the Real-time Energy Monitoring System in the University

Abstract  Resource saving has become the focus of global attention. Colleges and universities are not only the gathering place of higher talents, but also the important unit of energy consumption. How to carry on the real-time monitoring and scientific management to the university internal energy consumption has been widely concerned. In this paper, we study the real-time monitoring platform of energy, using the Internet of things technology to monitor and manage water, electricity and other resources, to provide data support for energy-saving work in colleges and universities. The real-time data monitoring platform based on Storm is used to provide real-time data monitoring, lighting system control, air conditioning system control, water control and so on. It is very important to use this platform to improve the energy management level of logistics department and to reduce the energy expenditure in universities.
