Abstract In recent years, collaborative learning has been the hot spot of education systems at home and abroad. In this paper,
three kinds of collaborative learning mode used in programming education courses are discussed and their influence on teaching organization
and students' abilities improvement are analyzed. The practice has proved that the application of collaborative learning in
programming education courses is active and effective.
