Design of the Automatic Drug Dispensing System Based on PLC

Abstract  
With the rapid development of industrial modernization and computer network technology, automatic control technology is
used more and more widely. Drugs are indispensable materials in our daily life, which are inseparable from individuals, families,
hospitals and countries. However, the traditional drug dispensing process is mostly under manual control, it is necessary to adjust the ratio of each material according to the production situation to calculate the ideal material quantity of each material, and adjust the equipment parameters step by step to meet the ratio requirements. Once the external conditions change, the production process needs
to be reset. The calculation operation takes a long time and is prone to errors, which brings adverse factors to production. Therefore,
the automatic drug dispensing system is particularly important. This system uses Siemens S7-200 as the main controller to realize
the automatic dispensing of drugs.
