This paper proposes a new training mode of research-type talents in the direction of artificial intelligence from the aspects

of theoretical teaching system, practical teaching system, student management system and assessment system for the computer major

of Nanjing University of Science and Technology Zijin College. The training mode has made remarkable achievements. Students

have published a number of core papers in two years, and a number of patents have been authorized. The talent training mode is

worth in-depth study and continuous development in universities.
