Relevance of Educational Objectives and Core Competence in International Certification of Communication Technology Specialty

Abstract  Communication technology is a specialty which takes technic as the orientation. Fostering students who have innovation ability is an important task in higher vocational education. At present, our communication technology specialty is applying for IEET international certification. In this certification, to confirm educational objectives and core competence is a primary task, which is very important to the development of communication technology specialty and influence on training plan, course system, syllabus, student management, teaching staff and training room establishing. So, this article analyzes the relationship between educational objectives and core competence, which takes example by international experience. This analysis can be a good reference for other specialties.
