Abstract With the development of science and technology and the progress of the times, computer assisted instruction is no longer a technology, but approach to an art. This paper uses Authorware to design the multimedia courseware. It expounds the application of courseware in teaching, the defects in the teaching process and the corresponding measures. It is pointed out that it should pay attention to the reasonable application and give full play to the important role of the multimedia courseware in the process of applying Authorware multimedia courseware in teaching.
