The Application of Soft Switching Technology in Communication Engineering and Its Development Direction

Abstract  Nowadays communication has become very popular. In order to keep up with the times trend, and meet with people's needs in daily life, there are higher requirements to the communications equipment and communication technology. Communication engineering must be updated continuously. The key of next generation communication network is soft switch technology. This paper analyzes the concept, principle, characteristics and protocol of soft switch technology, introduces its application in communication engineering, and researches on its development.
