Design and Implementation of High Reliable Campus Network Based on Network Virtualization

Abstract  Traditional network mainly adopts MSTP + VRRP technology, realizing redundant backup of route and ensuring the reli- ability of network. But it was very inconvenient for equipment management and maintenance and causing a waste of resources. In view of the shortcomings of traditional schemes, this paper takes Nanfang College of Sun-Yat-Sen University campus network as ex- ample, realizes high reliability campus network by adopting network virtualization technology and flat management. At last, the ex- periment shows that the network virtualization technology is more reliable in the network and achieves the expected goal.
