Abstract In the teaching process of computer major, program design is an important teaching content. Based on the analysis of the teaching of traditional programming course, this paper puts forward a three-dimensional interactive teaching model, taking teaching as the core, promoting the project-based teaching content with student innovation and entrepreneurship projects, improving the innovation of algorithm design through programming competition, and continuously reforming the teaching process of programming. This teaching mode is helpful to improve students' interest in programming language and programming ability, and to mobilize their initiative in independent learning.
