This paper explores the teaching reform and research of the Software engineering and modeling course in higher vocational colleges under the background of education big data. The paper introduces the concept of Education big data, and then analyzes the characteristics of the Software engineering and modeling course under the background of Education big data, and finally put forward the teaching reform strategy in project implementation, stratified teaching and process assessment.
