Abstract
The researches on CRC mainly focus on error detection, seldom on the function of error correction. IEEE 802.11 standard
makes use of cyclic redundancy code to detect the error. Based on introducing the essential method of generating CRC, this paper
analyses the process of correcting a single bit error in the information frame of IEEE 802.11 standard in detail.
