To enhance vocational student’s comprehensive quality has caused attention of education department and relevant people. Foundation of Computer Application is a basic course in vocational schools, coveraging almost all students. How to maximize the advantages of the course is what teachers should ponder. Through a teaching case, this paper analyzes how to make use of the characteristics of the course, to cultivate students' self-learning ability and innovation ability.
