Course question answering is not only a process of classroom teaching but also an important part of web- based course. How to carry out question answering efficiently in web-based course has been an important problem for web-based course building. This paper introduces the design and implementation of the course question answering system based on Struts2 framework. The system uses the technologies such as HTML, DIV, CSS，Ajax，JavaScript，JSP etc., to realize the user login and register, keyword searching, files uploading, access controlling, dynamic navigation content and other functions. The system uses MySQL database to manage the courses, content and user information. It overcomes the shortcomings of time and place limitations in classroom teaching, making convenience for the online communication between teachers and students.
