Abstract Machine fault search is an important part of machine maintenance. Based on the search theory, a machine fault search
model is proposed in the paper, which is solved by using heuristic greedy algorithm. The model is verified on the actual data. The experimental
result shows the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed model.
