Abstract In this paper, combined with the background of the era of knowledge and the big data in 2013, we propose that students majored in information management should pay attention to the knowledge management and knowledge measurement in the knowledge age, in order to meet the social demand for information management talents. We further put forward the training mode from three aspects: theoretical knowmetrics, knowmetrics technique and methods, application knowmetrics
