Abstract The university computer room has a huge number of computers and complicated software, which are frequently updated from time to time. It is concerned very much that how to manage so many computers efficiently. The virtual desktop infrastructure technique is placed much expectation on because of its feature of centralized management. However, it costs an amazing amount of computing and storage resource. It is not fit for university computer room. Against that backdrop, we explore a new management mode-virtual desktop infrastructure based on local cache, getting good using effect.
