Abstract This paper presents the construction idea and methods of 3D models of mechanical parts library，describes 3D modeling， virtual reality，database and network technology． This system realizes real-time interactive functions through virtual reality technology，including the operation of 3D model such as translation， rotation， zoom out and in．
