Research and Design of the Remote Meter Reading System Based on PLC Technology

Abstract  With the further renovation of electricity system in our country,the stability and reliability of electricity supply and consumption have been effectively improved. But the meter reading and data collection still lag behind the times.With the continuous maturity of communication technology of low-voltage power line carrier,we witness the hope of remote meter reading through utilizing this technology.Based on current PLC technology and the successful cases domestically and overseas,this paper conducts the valuable exploration and researches on hardware composition,construction and the design of software and protocol.
