Data Mining of Student Achievements Based on Fuzzy Clustering Method (FCM)

Abstract  FCM algorithm is a clustering algorithm based on the partition,whose idea is that the objects divided into the same clusters are of the maximum similarity and the different clusters are of the minimum similarity.FCM algorithm is a flexible fuzzy partition.The article introduces the basic theory of FCM algorithm at first,and then analyzes the information of student achievements by using the fuzzy clustering method.The analysis shows that FCM algorithm is an effective and good tool in data mining of student achievements.
