Instant access to classroom response from students is particularly important for optimizing classroom instruction and improving the quality of teaching. Based on the application of classroom real-time response system in Ottawa University in instructional design, this paper considers the rapid development of smart phones and the development of classroom response software system
in recent years, and studies the timing and usage strategy of using classroom response system on Smith-Reagan model. It introduces the classroom response system software and website commonly used by Ottawa University, and analyzes the feasibility of applying the problem design of the classroom response system of Ottawa University to the Smith-Reagan instructional design model in China.
