This article give a brief overview of Android operating system first，then give a classification of application softwares based on Android．Some application softwares with high usage are setted out．The contributing factors of the development of these softwares are pointed out．Finally，the prospects of applications based on Android are Proposed，in this way can we have a new way of thinking to the development of application softwares based on Android．
