Research on the Application of Seminar in the Teaching of Programming Languages

Abstract The traditional classroom teaching cannot meet the needs of students. We must change the teaching idea and teaching method. Seminar is a kind of teaching methods to take the student as the center, to maximize student’s learning initiative, and to contribute to solving the facing problems. After describing the problem of programming languages course teaching, this paper introduces the teaching status, and then discusses on the application of seminar in course teaching, emphatically analyses the seminar in three aspects of application, and summarizes the current research progresses.
