Abstract Today’s web making technology foundation course teach students to produce simple web pages without systematic website development capabilities and interests. This paper attempts to create a relaxed and happy learning environment, well design contents of teaching, choose professional cases and put competition mechanism forward in our course of web page making technology foundation as the teaching reform and practice. It is to improve the students' interest in learning and to master the production process of large sites, and meet the needs of the market for web technology talents.
