Abstract Taking the practice of modern apprenticeship in software technology major of Guangzhou City Construction College as an example, we discuss on the training of software technology professionals based on modern apprenticeship. According to the problems encountered during the process of the implementation, we adjust the training plan and curriculum to promote the improvement of the quality of personnel training.
