Abstract Process management and grade evaluation are two crucial issues in course projects teaching. Based on experiences in
the teaching of Network Program Design, we propose a new teaching mode based on group self-management. Compared to the general
group-based teaching mode, the new mode emphasizes more self-management and gives full play to the group in process management
and grade evaluation. This paper describes the operation of the new teaching mode. Practice show that the new mode greatly
improves the teaching results of Network Program Design.
