Abstract：The rapid development of information technologies has been speeding up the world pace in stepping into information era to a greater extent. Accompanying a continuous growing in education industry, both education ideologies and methodologies are facing an overwhelming revolution. To match those demands, the basic college computer education should advance with the times and be one of the priorities in college education. Targeting the students not majoring in computer and based on oriented self-learning ideologies and actual requirements in basic college computer education, this thesis aims to meditate and explore into cultivation of those learners’ information quality and self-researching ability.
