With the continuous development of computer and network technology, the network planning, construction and manage- ment of computer basic laboratories have gradually received attention. Among them, network planning and management effectively avoids the complicated operation process of the traditional stand-alone mode. The use of network software and systems can also opti- mize the structure of basic laboratory. This article takes Novell as an example to comprehensively explore the network planning and management methods and paths of the computer basic laboratory, and optimize the network planning and security by analyzing the network hardware environment and topology structure, to improve the safety and reliability of the laboratory environment.
