Taking NC turning of circular arc thread with variable radius as an example, this paper introduces the application of user macro program in the processing of circular arc thread. In this paper, the method of establishing mathematical expression of circular arc thread in actual processing and the application skills and precautions of macro program in it are described in detail, and the corresponding processing program is given. It is hoped that it will be helpful and useful for the personnel engaged in NC programming and operation.
