In recent years, big data technology based on mobile Internet, cloud computing and data mining technology develops rapidly, which has been gradually applied to various industries, such as science, informationization, etc. It has become an important engine driving economic development. With the deepening of the education informationization, the application of big data technology in education is the trend of the times. This paper gives a brief introduction of the big data technology, analyzes the prospect of application of big data in education and its challenge, and puts forward some feasible suggestions, in order to accelerate the development of the application of big data in education.
