In the context of rural revitalization, the development of rural education and teachers has attracted much attention. It is a tendency for rural teachers to improve their informational ability to fit for the rural education reform. By improving the informational ability, rural teachers can have more ways for self-studying and broaden their knowledge, so as to provide better teaching services for the rural students. This paper aims to explore the useful strategies for improving informational ability of rural teachers from teachers and management prospects after analyzing the subjective and objective difficulties which rural teachers faced. For rural teachers, they should have a more active attitude toward the improving informational ability which is a necessity for a qualified teacher. For the management departments, they should guarantee the basic infrastructures and related systems. Besides, they should provide more chances of training and contests for rural teachers, which will speed up the rural teachers’overall development of informational ability.
