Abstract:Currently the MEMS accelerometer is widely applied into the game, nursing, and habilitation due to the high ratio of quality-price. Generally the MEMS accelerometer is used due to the possibility of displacement measurement. However, there is a great variance for this measurement due to its inherent shortcoming, i.e. easily suffering from the noise. If no approach is used, the variance will be great. In this paper, we study the measurement accuracy of accelerometer and the measurement after Kalman Filtering, and discuss the feasibility of displacement measurement using MEMS accelerometer, which is helpful for the further application of accelerometer.
