Abstract：On the base of explaining the XML encoding scheme of the basic concepts and technologies， this paper introduces several major coding schemes of XML node from the main idea， principle， features， advantages and disadvantages， combined with the actual use of the current industry situation． It allows readers have a full understanding of XML data coding schemes so as to help for XML query research．
