摘要介绍了网络设备模拟器的功能，对多种模拟器的优缺点进行了比较，详细说明GNS3模拟器的安装、配置及使用，最后以配置思科的PIX525防火墙的访问控制列表实验为例，验证了GNS3模拟器在网络实验中的应用效果。

Abstract：This paper first introduces the principal functions of network equipment simulator. Next the essential advantages and disadvantages of several simulators are compared，and then an instruction in detail for the installation，configurations and applications of the simulator GNS3 is presented. Finally，with an example by configuring the access control list (ACL) which is based on the firewall of Cisco PIX525，the simulator GNS3 is proved feasible to be applied in network experiments.
