Abstract：With the growing of direct satellite television， direct-to-home satellite television is facing huge opportunity and challenge in china． Therefore， we need the rational analysis of our country course of the development of satellite television and make a comparison with advanced countries to find out the direction of further development of implementation． In this paper， from this point of view， the writer reviews the development of DTH satellite television and proposes the relevant recommendations of the need and suggestions．
