Abstract：Under the background of modern education informatization, countries attach great importance to cultural construction and cultural inheritance, and museums at all levels gradually take education as their primary function. This paper summarizes the application of new media technology in museum construction and museum learning overseas, combs the new media technology in the domestic application and development of modern education technology museum practice mechanism research. In view of the challenges and problems of new media technology, coping strategies and the development suggestions are put forward, to provide reference for the museum construction in China, and to improve the educational function of museums.
