Abstract：In order to improve the emergency response capacity and accelerate emergency response speed of AIS navigation，we study about the display of fault navigation，navigation boat search function and organization of tasks based on ArcGIS using modern GIS technology．This paper mainly discusses the implementation process of the application of GIS emergency response and the search method by using the way of the shortest route，which provides us a platform for timely reporting and maintenance of fault navigation and provides an effective means for administering navigation．
