Safety management is an important content in intelligent building．This paper introduced the research progress at home domestic and abroad of intelligent building，and analyzed the development situation of intelligent building from technical standard，design and realization，then elucidated that safety management is very important in intelligent building，and it has practical significance to study the safety management strategy．
